Strategic Advantage

We joked on the home page about a boy in a pool with a robot remote control shark creating some space to play. Often when we talk to clients they do not really have a strategic advantage over their competition. They don’t own a patented process or have a robot remote control shark that no one else offers. What they do have is a great team, a service culture, solid management and quick response times. Business practices that they compete with and build a loyal client base from.

So what can Spincaster do to provide a strategic advantage? We think the Internet provides two main paths for improvement. The first is productivity. It is commonplace these days to move old applications and business process to an online format. This typically does three things,

  1. Provides greater accessibility to customers
  2. Saves time
  3. Removes redundant steps which improves efficiency

The second set of improvements involves communications. This relates to the bottom line for businesses. It is less expensive and more effective to market and inform from a website than any other type of media. We include internal communications in this mix. Allowing staff and partners to access secure information is smart business.

Communications involve advertising, promotion, support and service information as well as mobile phone apps and social media – essentially becoming as transparent as is required to streamline your message to your audience. Now it is possible that you have several audiences and require different approaches for each group. You may be supplying and supporting dealers, selling direct to consumers and tapping into a communities online. This would involve a business to business to consumer to social media needs for the site. It sounds complex but if we break it down and build a solution that works, it can be very worthwhile.
