History

In the early days when the World Wide Web was more like the Wild Wild West – Spincaster was there.

In 1992 Troy Hunnie co-founded a small communications company that soon grew to become one of the largest business telecom providers in the British Columbia Interior. As telephone and computer/Internet technologies began to merge, Troy was drawn to the exciting opportunities that the Internet had to offer and in 1998 formed Spincaster Productions Inc.

Spincaster began developing custom website designs and applications, like our own content management systems (CasterCMS), electronic newsletter management systems (Newscaster), and web/email hosting solutions.

Spincaster’s innovative website solutions quickly caught the attention of resellers in the BC Interior and Lower Mainland. These solutions are now widely recognized with publicly traded corporations in the mining, oil and gas exploration sector.
